I agree with Johannsen. I've used Callinize and they have the click to dial along with other features. It's easy to set up, only took me a few minutes. You can have a look at their integration page for the list of supported phone system https://www.callinize.com/integrations/sugarcrm/
Hi there,
Just curious how your project is going, have you managed to create your own solution or decided to to use a ready one?
If you still consider options, take a look at Sugar and Asterisk integration by Richlode Solutions: http://richlodesolutions.com/sugar-dialer-sugarcrm-and-asterisk-integration
Here's what inbound calls look like. You can immediately see who's calling:

Hello!
Call centers use a SIP phone, to allow calls made via the internet, messaging, among others. If you have one already, you can connect it to your SUGAR CRM with a CTI like Tenfold. That will automate calls, display a caller id (like you want) and log calls to your CRM. The Tenfold pop-up also offers a host of features to maximize every call event. https://www.tenfold.com/support-center/features-list/

yes i agree, you need a SIP phone
Hello,
You need to use SIP phone systems.
There are two types of SIP phone systems which you can use according to your business requirement:
1. Hardware SIP phone : A typical telephone system that used hardware built purposely to make and receive calls using the internet.
2. Software based SIP : Here any computer to be used as a telephone by means of a headset with a microphone.
Software SIP Phones can also run on mobile devices such as Android and iOS.

We are launching a new product "Enjay Synapse" which is Call centre software for Sugar CRM + Android Phone. While we will be releasing video and other material in next week. I can share some features and benefits of the solution.
Enjay Synapse Mobile (How it works)
I am sure this will be useful for you. If you find this interesting, please email me. my email id is limesh@ens.net.in
So if we use the Sugar Mobile App and it is running when receiving a call, can your software display the caller record if they exist in our CRM?
