Generate Proposal from Opportunity

Hi ,

I am new to SugarCRM, and I would like to Generate a Proposal (Word doc/PDF or JSON) from SugarCRM Opportunity.

What are the options I have, do I need to use the REST API's or can I create a FORM and populate the form using the Opportunity, and have a custom action which will either dump the JSON file or call my custom code in python which can generate the word doc from a template.

I need some help. thanks

Hello Rajesh,

If you need to Download a PDF while in Sugar with Opportunity information you can use the PDF Manager.

This will allow your users to either download or Email the PDF from the Opportunity record:

Hello Andre,

I cannot find PDF in the menu for the Opp record, just for the Quotes module...
Is that smth new provided with the recent Sugar release?
