Anyone has an experience to share?

I'm qualifying a lead who has the same need (integration between Sugar & a chat system).

What did you all end up going with?

Zendesk, eventually called "Zopim" seems to be best option available.

I have gone through From initial research section from the answer and I want to add one here: REVE Chat. Some of the best eCommerce companies in South East Asia and other zones are using it and their reviews are so far very satisfactory.

I would like to mention Acquire Live Chat as an addition to your list of Live Chat service providers. It’s easy to integrate SugarCRM with Acquire. Apart from the basic prerequisites, it even facilitates cobrowsing. 

I hope this is useful to people looking for Live Chat options for SugarCRM.

Hi Abir, I checked and they don't support Sugar OOTB:

You may configure webhooks in the LiveChat and get webhooks data populated through SugarCloud on On-Premise Sugar instance modules via Logic Builder DataBridge middleware webhooks receiver.
I think I can make a video of how that works and post it here if you are interested

We use LiveChat https://www.livechat.com/ with custom integration via their APIs and Sugar's.
We display customer information from Sugar on the LiveChat app and we archive chats in a custom Sugar module.

We also have Create Case and Create Lead buttons on the Chat application that take the user straight to the Cases/Leads create screen module with pre-populated data from the chat.
