Defining the custom index in a Vardefs Extension

HI All,

I Just want to what is the purpose of defining the custom index in a Vardefs Extension and Is it any relation elastic search ?

    No all searches are executed by Elastic Search. Reporting related queries, for example, are triggered by regular sql queries. There are other database related queries. This explains the request to manage indexes.
