Sugar Enterprise 25.1 is Now Available

SugarCRM is excited to announce the release of Sugar Enterprise 25.1 for on-site customers.

This update highlights some of the key enhancements in this release of Sugar Enterprise. Visit the April 2025 page in Release Central to find everything to prepare for updates across the Sugar platform, including new blogs and updates, events, videos, release announcements, documentation, and more, across recent, current, and upcoming releases.

This release coincides with the 25.1 releases of Sugar Sell and Sugar Serve for instances hosted in Sugar Cloud and incorporates features and enhancements from the preceding Sugar Cloud releases  ( October 2024 and July 2024 ).

Please note that the SugarCRM product version number scheme has been simplified, changing this version number from what would have been 15.0 to 25.1. Please review A Simpler, More Consistent Versioning Scheme for Sugar Products for more details!

  • Modern UI Redesign: Sugar is reimagined with a beautiful new UI that makes your day-to-day tasks feel bright and fresh. Enjoy color-coded navigation, a focused center pane, animation on menu selections, and an enhanced dark mode.

  • Track Account Interactions: Improve your account relationships with immediate insight into the most recently held call or meeting, automatically displayed in the new Last Interaction field.

  • Exclude Duplicate Report Results: A new "Show distinct results" checkbox has been added to Rows and Columns reports to filter out duplicates caused by related records matching report filters multiple times.

  • Column Sorting in Report Dashlet Drill-Through: Clicking a column header when drilling through the Report dashlet now sorts results.

  • Consistent Report Chart Coloring: The colors assigned to dropdown field values in report charts are now consistent across all reports and dashboards.

  • Quote Worksheet Performance Improvements: When your quote contains a large number of line items, adding more to your worksheet is now a faster and smoother experience.
  • Ability to Lock Quote Conversion Rates: You can now choose to lock the currency conversion rates on your quotes while continuing to work toward closing them so they do not change when the rates are updated.
  • Additional Count in Consoles: When filtering on a metric tab in the Sales or Service Console, you will see how many records are in your filtered subset within the context of your search.

  •  sales-i Updates  
    • Integration Updates: sales-i data insights can be displayed directly in SugarCRM.
  •  Sugar Connect (Mail & Calendar Integration):
    • Meeting Scheduler Styling & Design: Now you can design invitations that match your style and customize them for a better first impression. 
    • Office 365 & Google Workspace Meeting Scheduler Updates: Users can now assign event types (meetings, calls, or tasks) and whether the meeting happens once or repeats. Plus, Zoom or Google Meet links can now be added automatically for meetings.
  •  SugarCRM Mobile App:
    • Microsoft SharePoint Support: The mobile app's Cloud Drive dashlet now supports the SharePoint integration so you can interact with your SharePoint files from any dashboard.
    • Send to DocuSign Via Cloud Drive: The mobile app’s Cloud Drive dashlet now allows users to send documents for signature via DocuSign directly from their connected OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive accounts.

Upgrade Information

Sugar 25.1 will support new installations and upgrades from version 14.0.1 and version 14.0.2 on all supported platforms. Customers hosting their Sugar instance on their own servers can review the installation and upgrade instructions for these releases in the Enterprise 25.1 Installation and Upgrade Guide .

Sugar 13.x End-of-Support

Sugar 13.x will reach its End-of-Support (EOS) date on April 30, 2025. All customers deployed on-site and still using Sugar 13.0 in production should review Important Notice - End of Support for Sugar 13 Instances for more details.
