Customer ship to info on opportunities

Question

It would be nice to have the ship to state on an opportunity so that the list view could be filtered for sales reps to easily find the information they need. Is this possible or what are potential work arounds?

Define the field with the "Calculated Value" option enabled and then create a SugarLogic formula that pulls the State value from the linked Account. That would automatically populate it with the State value from the Account record, even if an update happens at the Account level.

 You can add a State field in Studio. Perhaps as a Text field (you may want to set is as two characters for force the use of the abbreviation), or you could make it a drop-down if you'd like to do that. Be sure to add the field to the Search and List View layouts.
