Subpanel Missing when related field has been added in Opportunity.

Question

Hi, DevClub, 
 We are currently using SugarCRM Version 14.0.1 (Build 279) (Q2 2024) on Prem. 
 Within Opportunities, we have a related field that relates back to the Opportunities, i.e. a Parent Opportunity. As can be seen below in Image 1 and 2

I can see the relationship as in image 3 and 4 below.

However, the Subpanel does not display on the Opportunity. It is also not listed in the Subpanels section See 5 below).

I notice that the "Subpanel from Opportunities" is blank in image 4 above. 
 
 I have carried out Quick Repair and Rebuilds, also Rebuild Relationships. 
 
 I'm just wondering if I have missed something or if anyone has any ideas.

Hi Peter Hallett , 
 The behavior you are seeing is present in any Sugar installation. Enhancement # 85236 was filed to address this gap in functionality; it is currently marked as no plan to implement. I recommend filing a support case to be associated with that enhancement as the more customers requesting a feature may change the priority. 
 In the meantime, you can create a custom 1:m relationship via Studio to establish the same use case you are seeking.
