Show currency in Quote Report

I also found that reporting on the related currency is difficult.

I think I found an answer to your problem by creating a calculated field that you would then report on and created a quick video to show you how:

The Formula would need to be updated to show the base currency of your system, so it's not perfect.

We always wanted to report in separate currencies, so since v6 we have had: "reporting currency" which we populate in the back end when the record is saved (before save) with the ISO4217. We make that field reportable and add filters that we know will lead to a single currency (like our custom business region/country) so we can do reports by each of the currencies.

Although there are few issues with using the calculated field with older quotes, this is still a suitable solution.

Regarding older quotes: To mass update the calculated field value on your older quotes, you can run a 'Recalculate Values' function in Quotes List View: https://www.screencast.com/t/q0H621lHXH

If you have a large number of quotes to mass update, I'd recommend you filter your List View first by 'Date Modified' being before todays' date so that you don't keep updating the same records again: https://www.screencast.com/t/PlBF1lawjE

Dependant on how many quotes you are updating, you may have to repeat this step until all quotes have been updated.

We did ours back in v6, there may have been fewer options for calculated fields back then, I forget the exact reasoning.
