Hi all,
As a business, we have a situation where we need to communicate an important service update via email to our customers en mass (regarding a price change).
The way we have approached this is to do the sends using Sugar Market, as the emails follow a branded template design and we can target lists easily for multiple different locations.
In addition, the CRM team are the best placed and most experienced team suited to build emails quickly and efficiently and this is the tool we use.
However, the Guarded Watch feature in Sugar Market blocks emails from going to any unsubscribed clients as a failsafe. Of course, this is a necessary and useful feature for Marketing messages, however, as detailed above this is a service message that we have to communicate to our customers and there is no way of getting round the guarded watch block (no way of turning on or off). Is this a feature that could be considered for Market?
OR my other question is - is there a more efficient way of doing this using Sugar Enterprise or Sell? In an ideal scenario, operational teams in the business would be able to pick this up and communicate a service message to our client base and not put the ask onto the Marketing team.
I have now sent the majority of the messages, but am in a situation where all unsubs still need to receive a message one way or another.
Any advice much appreciated here.
