so we added a new user, but the problem is now that they can´t search for anything in the searchig bar. we´ve tried everything, but couldn´t find a solution.

Hi Tonja Clasen - Did you mean to post this in the Sugar Market, or did you mean this for Enterprise & Sell? If so, there are a few search options, can you please clarify which one you're referring to, such as the Global Search or List View search? Does the user have issues seeing any records if you send them a direct link, or is it just the search?

I moved this post over to our Enterprise & Sell Answers & Best Practices forum since it sounds like this is a question about Sugar Sell.
Does this user have the issue with all modules, or just one or some? For example, if it is just one module, does the user have any filters applied on the list view search that need to be removed:
In this example, clicking either of the yellow highlighted Cancel or X buttons will remove the filter and should display all records. More information about these filters can be found at https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Versions/12.2/Sell/Application_Guide/Search/#Filter
If it is all records in all modules, I would think it could be possibly related to Team and/or Role restrictions. If you're not familiar with these, here are a few help articles to get you started:
In my previous reply, I asked "Does the user have issues seeing any records if you send them a direct link?" which will be an important aspect to understand if the user can access records at all, or if it is only in the list view.
