Add case macro to process email template

Hi, 

We would like to set up a BPM that sends out a confirmation when a case is closed. If the customer answers to the confirmation email the case should be reopened. Due to that we need to add the case macro to the process email template. But it does not seem to work, see picture. The number does not update to the number of the case. Why not?
