Connecting an e-mail label in Sugar CRM

Good afternoon,

I am currently to connect an e-mail account with Sugar CRM. To be specific: I want the  incoming e-mail organized under a label to be forwarded as case into SugarCRM. Does SugarCRM recognize labels in an inbox? 

I have been trying to figure out how to do this. The general mail from the mailbox is already being forwarded as case, but not the e-mail under the label in the mailbox.

We are using G-mail in the webbrowser as e-mail client.

  • using standard Gmail features:

    create a filter and select which incoming email address it will apply to,

    then apply the label

    then choose a forwarding address

  • that should assign a label and forward an email from SugarClub, but should we expect that forward an email which has been labeled by label X as criteria for forwarding?

    When creating a forwarding filter there is a warning not to use label: in the criteria:

  • Thant's not what I suggested exactly for same reason as the warining, and not required to fulfil the requirement as far as I understoood the OP, but happy to revisit if I've misunderstood..
