TextArea field size

Fields of type taxtarea are created in the mysql database as text fields with a length of 65535 chars.

I tested it and save 2000 chars without problems.

Do you mean the dimension of the field? You can set number of rows and length of rows in studio.

This looks like a custom field validation error for the specific field. The error message is a validation error described here:

You should check the custom code (Javascript) of that module.
