O365 SugarConnect Sync Issues

How are other users handling the SugarConnect sync not fully working?  As I get more users adopted they continue to complain that all of their meetings are not syncing, only the ones they create so they are unable to fully use to Sugar Calendar Functionality

  • Hi Meagan,
I'm the Product Manager for Sugar Connect. It's nice to meet you!

Thank you for being a user of Sugar Connect and I'm sorry that you're experiencing some frustration. We've been working on making the calendar synchronization process more stable and will be rolling those changes out soon. In the meantime, we've been investigating how to better capture events to synchronize, such as meetings where you are an invitee but not the creator or assigned user. I wanted to let you know that we are working towards a solution.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

  • Thanks for the update.  Do you have a definitive time line or project of next quarter or the next?  Soon to me means next week :)

  • The changes we're making to improve the stability and performance of calendar synchronization will be going out this quarter. As for having meetings sync where the user is an invitee, I can tell you that won't be this quarter. At this point we don't have a timeline and I don't want to set a false expectation with you. We hope to finalize our research and come up with a plan of action and at that point we'll have a better idea of timelines.
