Sending emails with Sugar BPM : issues with "from" address

Hi there,

We're trying to automate customer reminders with a simple Sugar BPM process. This simply sends an email when a field is changed on a meeting record. 

The email is indeed sent, but the "from" address is the one setup in Admin > System Email Settings (SMTP relay service, used for generic notifications), although the process is configured to use the record owner. 

When I try to send a manual email (contact > Create email > compose & send), it does send the email from my email adress. 

Am I missing a configuration? The document is not entirely clear and could indicate that we would need to create additional outgoing email accounts for each and every user? We're talking about a customer with 100+ users :/

    Was this bug fixed by any chance as i am also facing same kind of issue now where the emails which are sent are going as from"example@example.com".or any solution for this issue?.

    The bug is marked as resolved in 11.2.0+, could you confirm in which version you are observing the behavior ?

    The sugar version is 10.0.1 and the issue is when i compose and send the Email it gets changed to example@example.com for some reason with all the users tried and created new users as well same issue with new user.

  • I see, is upgrading to the current 12.0.0 version would be an option? It should be resolved in that release. If upgrading isn't an option at the moment, could you contact customer support in order to review if a hotfix for 10.0.x can be generated?
