Can Sugar Connect be hosted within the EU ?

Our customers are very sensitive to data location, even if the data only briefly transits outside of the EU it can scare them. 

Can we now choose the region, just like with Sell and Market ?

    Hello Deepak,

    Thank you for your reply. We are not legal experts, but hosting data outside of the EU seems to be a major obstacle. As far as I know the GDPR does not clearly forbid non-EU data residency, it's more an "I'm not taking any risk" attitude. Yet most of our customers now stay away from non-EU hosted services. 

    Mailchimp, for one, is suffering among our customers. BTW this is an(other) issue since no decent connector exists for Sendinblue/Mailjet. 

    But I digress. 

    I was under the impression that offering EU-based data residency was on the roadmap for this summer? 

    Do other EU-based partners experience the same feedback?
