Cloned a Sugar Instance for Testing

taken a dump and installed in xampp changed config file as per requirement. when i logged into crm getting error as invalid credentials. what is the problem and do i need to change any changes in code???

Make sure you updated database host, name, credentials, site_url, host_name.
Also make sure you updated the attribute RewriteBase at your .htaccess.

Did you copy the database to a new server or did you rename the database on the same server?
Invalid credentials means that the contact to the database worked but the user could not be found or the password was wrong.

Did you copy the database to a new server or did you rename the database on the same server?
Invalid credentials means that the contact to the database worked but the user could not be found or the password was wrong.
