Stagnant Opportunity Reminder

We have implemented a Stagnant Opportunity Business Process Workflow, but have a minor problem that the past 1 day reminder is still occurring even when the Opportunity is Won.

I think its where I have positioned the Sales Stage Won/Lost condition. Any help appreciated - diagram attached.

    It's not clear from your process design, but it appears that your '1 Day Past or Expected Close Date Changes' event-based gateway may only go to the 1-day wait timer and the close date change receive message event. If that is the case, that means any opportunities to move to closed won/lost within 15 days of the close date will result in the behavior you are observing. If they moved to closed won/lost 16 days or more before the close date, you would not see this issue.

    If this is an accurate understanding, then '1 Day Past or Expected Close Date Changes' event-based gateway should also be connected to the 'Sales Stage has changed to Won or Lost' receive message event. This should account for opportunities moving into those stages within the last 15 days and avoid the 1 day past message being sent.
