How to change the Status and Notifying a User on Case Update Emails using Process Definition?

This was already filed as issues. SugarCRM, Inc. 

Seems still not addresses, or is there a workaround I'm not aware of?

Sugar made the Pending Processing field in Cases and Bugs for this very purpose. You can read more about that here.

May be worthwhile adding this to the Bug report as I came to this post because it's still showing as unresolved, or is Sugar still planning on adding the old feature in as well at some stage?
