UI Element Changes

As part of the 14.2 upgrade, the Sugar UI has received moderate updates that may require you to update some of your customizations. This UI update focuses largely on styling changes – the overall behavior of the UI remains the same. 

Unlike the 12.3 UI update that replaced several components in the UI, this update keeps the existing components and updates their HTML and CSS. As a result, we expect this upgrade to have a smaller chance of impacting existing instances. However, some customizations may require some attention.

In general, if you have custom Handlebars templates or CSS (custom.less), you will want to test and review your customizations to ensure they still function as intended. Below is a summary of the overall changes: 

As a reminder, customizing “base” core files is wrong and will complicate future upgrades.
