How to setup a country and state related dropdown list ?

Hi All,

I want to set a drop down list of state which automatically listed based on the selected country. How to set values of drop down list based on the value of another drop down ?

    You can configure a Parent dropdown or an Initial Filter.

    Andre - If we set up the country field as parent, with states and territories dependent, any idea on whether this has been problematic for others? Or any idea on whether this will be a provided feature one day...it seems so standard. As it stands - we have so much missing within address fields because they are so separated and unknown at the time of creation (part process issue).

    I believe the most effective solution is to apply an InitialFilter.

    Basically you have to create the module "State" and configure into that field an InitialFilter which depends on regular dropdown Country.

    This way State will be automatically filtered based on selected Country. Additionally you can create States record on demand, which doesn't depends on dropdown list updates.
