I am looking to automate my Renewals as we have quite a few custom fields. I have three goals:
1. I would like some of the fields of the renewal opportunity to be auto-populated (regardless how they were populated on the Parent opportunity), based on the fact that this a Renewal: Opportunity type, existing ARR, etc.
E.g. Opportunity type: that's either New Business, Upsell etc - on the renewal I would like to set up a logic that will automatically set the opportunity type as Renewal when Renewal is created.
2. I would like to set up a logic for a number of fields that could automatically pull through from Parent opportunity to Renewal.
E.g. Revenue Line Items: We have a custom field called "Markets" - I would like that field to pull from the Closed Opportunity (Parent Opportunity) to Renewal.
E.g. Revenue Line Items: We have a custom field called "Products" - I would like that field to pull from the Closed Opportunity (Parent Opportunity) to Renewal.
3. Despite of the Service Duration on Parent Opportunity, I would like the renewal to always be 12 months.
E.g. Parent Opportunity Service Duration = 36 months, Renewal Service Duration = 12
Does anybody know if these are possible goals to achieve?
