Cloud Drive error for some users

Hi

We just upgraded to version 25.2.
We are using the Cloud Drive to store documents from the quote module.
We have the path set to use a shared Google Drive and then subfolders. For some users, they are getting an error message in the Cloud Drive where they don't have access to this path.

They have access to the Google drive and folders if they enter the google drive directly.

We checked it this has something to do with Roles, but these users have the same error if they are not related to a role.

Does anyone experience the same and figured out a way to solve this?

  • Hi Hanne,

As Google authorization is based on the consent of each user, they need to authorize in their Google account and provide the access to Sugar to call Google Drive API (see the screenshot below). If the user didn't provide the permission by checking the checkboxes below, it can lead to the error message you showed. To fix the issue, that user should go to their profile page, unlink the connection to Google and re-authorize it once again, checking all the checkboxes for the Google Drive API access.
