Automating Intelligent Document OCR on upload

Before reinventing the wheel...

I just wondered if there are any off the shelf solutions already in place - that would be able to OCR/Parse  any document that drops into the documents module in SugarCRM and intelligently retrieve the information therein into fields (either inside the docs module or in notes or opportunities etc)

We process huge volumes of docs for orders - and in order to look at automating order sign-off - the first stage is being able to match the order to the finance docs stored in documents.

I know I can build something external with n8n and an ocr model - but just wanted to check what's already available...

    I see DocProStar on the marketplace, but I didn't have any experience with it. Looks like "yet another iPaaS".

    I also recognize that the requirements for the document structure and how it should transform into different types of modules are quite demanding. I personally would go with the custom n8n flow to have full control on the document structure, LLM models and costs.
