Create PBA for closing a task upon scheduling a meeting in quotes

Do you think it is possible to create a Process Definition that would close a users task in a quote based on when a meeting is scheduled within a quote? I am not sure how it would find the task and know which one to close out.

If so, would this be created within the Target Module of Quotes, Meetings or Tasks?

Hi Norm Bonenfant ,

Whether this is possible would depend on whether the task you want to close can be programmatically identified (e.g. task type or some other criteria). If you can do that, then you would create a process definition on the Meetings module. The start event of the process definition would be set to trigger when the parent type of the meeting is equal to 'Quote' along with any other criteria you want.

Then, the action would be a Change Field action set to update the task(s) of the related quote:

Thank you for the replay. Got distracted by the craziness of the season but there was a glitch in the system somewhere that I am working through with support to figure it out. Essentially, the "assigned to" field kept importing process definitions list and not the list of our employees. It was vert strange.
