Yes, you would be able to use calculated fields for this purpose provided the records you need to measure against are related to each other. The type of relationship matters though and where you want the calculation to be performed. What type of relationship is set between the modules (i.e. 1:1, 1:many, or many:many)? If the relationship is 1:m, please indicate which module would contain the calculation (The '1' side or the 'many' side).
