How to report on dates 'greater than xx days' please?

Trying to see if there is a way to create dynamic reports for sales dashboards based on date fields to display 'greater than xx days'.

I naturally assumed this was possible and common requirement, but can't find a way to do this using Sugar reports, only Advanced reports which cannot be added to Dashboards and not easy for users to choose their own xx days.

Any ideas welcome.

  • Hello  ,

Can you check if a "List View" Dashlet, would work ?
There you can use the  "More than __ days Ago" filter:

Let's say you want to have your sales team to see the Opportunities that are not updated since 10 days you can add that with a setup like the one below

Let me me know if this helps.

    Cheers,

    André

  • hi

thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately the list view dashlet doesn't provide chart options.

Can you maybe suggest the teams that work on list view filter options collaborate with the team working on report filter options, so we align the same options?

  • Hi  ,

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback! We already have a documented idea for that specific filter, and I'll make sure to note that it has also been requested on SugarClub.

It would be extremely helpful if you could open a support case to indicate that your customer is interested in this feature as well. This helps our Product Management team better understand how many customers are requesting this enhancement, which can increase its visibility and prioritisation.

For reference, you can use Idea #93630.

    Cheers,

    André

  • Hi,

why don't you make the ideas proposed by customers visible to all other customers, and allow us to vote on them?

  •  Hi ,

The process we use to manage ideas can be found and explained here: https://support.sugarcrm.com/resources/working_with_sugar_support/#How_Sugar_Manages_Submitted_Issues_and_Ideas

The ideas are visible to customers who have support portal access and you can view all ideas in the portal as well (you may need to adjust your filters though). As André touched on above, you can "vote" on an idea by submitting a support case and our support team can add your case to the idea. This best allows our teams to understand the impact and scope of these ideas.

If you'd like me to have a case created on your behalf and associated with Idea 93630, I'm happy to do so as well to add your vote to it - just let me know!

    I hope this helps!
