Is there a way to enable duplicate checks for accounts/contacts in other modules except when only converting a lead into a opportunity. I need to check for duplicate accounts/contacts when converting a target into a lead.

Hi Sudha,
Sugar does not have a native way of performing cross-module duplicate checks. Our plug-in, Upsert Deduplicate with the Cross-Module Duplicate Detection add-on, is an ideal fit for your use case. As leads are created, you can have multiple cross-module duplicate checks triggered to see if there are any contacts matching on any combination of fields in the module including email address, phone number, similar name, and more!
