Link Google sheet to Sugar

Hello!

I would like to create a connection between Sugar CRM and Google Sheet.
Typically, I would need to update an excel sheet weekly, with all the opportunities (Name, Amount, Stage).
I'm aware that plenty of add-ons exist (on Sugar Exchange, or online), but I would prefer to use a  secured/free method.
Anyone achieved this so far?

    Hello, spotted this very old post and I have done a few google sheets now which pull sugar report data using google apps script.

    I can share some info if requred, but not posting it yet as this old post has no replies anyway.   
    Just adding this note in case it might help someone looking for similar solutions.

    I am not a dev, just sugar admin - but I managed to use Apps Script to:

    • Authenticate as me into sugar
    • GET report data
    • Add that data to a google sheet

    Depending on the sheet access too you can also add a custom button to the sheet ribbon to 'update now'.
