Restrict Custom line on Quote

There used to be a way to disable custom line items on Quotations, in order to adhere to using only the Product Catalog. Is this no longer optional? I see no reference to any Admin settings in documentation, only that Users have the ability to create custom line items if they don't wish to use a product from the catalog.

Hi Missy,

Thank you for asking this. Idea 79340 asks for the ability to disable the ability to create new quoted line item while editing Quote.

This is not something that can be disabled in the product.

Thanks for answering, Patrick. Just wishing for an administrative way to keep the integrity of the catalog intact...as well as reporting ;)
