We have been informed that Microsoft is Deprecating Basic authentication in Exchange Online which means IMAP will be blocked.
Is there another way to connect a group mailbox using office 365? for inbound emails as IMAP seems to be only protocol we can select.

Microsoft is deprecating basic authentication, but you can still use the IMAP protocol in Sugar. You will need to configure the Microsoft connector in Sugar with an appropriate Client ID & secret, and then update your inbound email configurations to leverage the connector.
