Which fields are offered in mass update? And how add or to remove them ?

Sugar expanded the list of fields that can be used in Mass Update.

I wonder how these fields are selected to show or hide.

There is this Mass Update checkbox in the fields list you find via Studio.

But since our v11 update , also many fields appear in the mass udpate , fields that can't be found via Studio.

I want to hide many of them, but how can that be done if not via Studio ?

There are 2 types of 'issuesn' :

1. The field is offered in the mass update but it doesn't appear in Studio

2. The field is offered in the mass update , I can find it in Studio, but it doesn't offer the mass update checkbox

    Hi Hugo,

    Please go through this link to know more about the list of the fields available for the mass update by default for Sugar 11 and higher versions.

    If the field is not available in the studio it means it has been hidden in the studio, whenever a field is created in the studio the Sugar creates a vardef file in that specific module for every field. You can go to vardefs file and check whether the field has been hidden in the studio or not, If it is hidden in the studio, the studio parameter will be set to true in the vardef file. If you want to remove any field from Mass Update which is not available in the studio, you can set the Mass Update parameter to False in the Vardef File.
