Looping through children objects in process email templates?

Hello Sugar lovers!

In Sugar BPM email templates, can you loops though children objects? Eg. send an automated email after an opportunity is closed won that includes all revenue line itemps with label, quantity and price.

That could apply to any child object.

I can do that in a PDF template or in wDocs, but I don't see how to do that in process email templates other than pre-calculating the field via code (Sugar logic Lont loop either). Any other idea?

Hi Frédéric,
Unfortunately no. We sort of gave up on that, we may put in an enhancement request ticket in the future.

Workaround: use a generated document, although that's cumbersome.

We already did some customization deep in the PMSE process so we will probably abble to do it. I just want to be sure we were not going to dev something that was already solve in another smartest way.

It will inform you if we do it in a proper and clean way.

For more advanced business process logic problems like this, Make (https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/addons/make) could be a great solution.

For your use-case, you'd create a Webhook that fires when the Opp is Closed Won. The Make scenario would start with a "Watch Opportunities" modules to catch the Webhook, loop through all child objects, build the email and send it.
