How to call API or any custom method on click of custom button ?

Question

How to create Custom Button "Submit" in Order Module ? 
 On Click of "Submit" button (created in Step 1), how to call custom method or any API which will pass data to external application .Please provide code and location where we want to modify or create files.

 you can call a Custom Endpoint (a SugarAPI)

 or an external API with the proper payload to submit your order.
