Lead Source Description on Contact Record

Hi John, if it's not there by default and just not on the layout (see studio in admin) you can add the field and use this guide to copy it over.

In Studio it is not an available field. Are you saying to create a new field in the Contact and then map it from the Lead to the Contact?

I guess I don't understand why it is not there by default. Why wouldn't you want to know where a Contact originally came from?
