USD Currency with half cent

if USD is your base currency you will notice that in your config.php you have the definition and the significant digits.

Use your config_override.php to change that value and you should be good to go. :)

  'default_currency_iso4217' => 'USD',
  'default_currency_name' => 'US Dollars',
  'default_currency_show_preferred' => false,
  'default_currency_significant_digits' => 2,
  'default_currency_symbol' => '$',

Just wanted to follow up, contacted Sugar, I had no idea this is actually in the user profile under Advanced and it's called System Significant Digits

I had a similar need, tracking multiple currencies doing EFX transactions. Instead of using the Currency field type, I opted to go for a Decimal field type, and an accompanying dropdown for selecting currency. That way we could show four decimal places for EFX transactions without making a system wide change to all the other currency fields (we wanted them to stay at 2 decimal places).
