I have linked an opportunity to a campaign. But I can't see the opportunity in the Campaign view

You can add a simple report to see and get quick access to a particular campaign's opportunities.
If it's necessary to see Opportunities on a Campaign's subpanel, it's also possible but should be programmed.

I do have an opportunities subpanel included in the Campaign view. See attached image. I have specifically linked an opportunity to this campaign but just can't view it in the Opportunities subpanel.

campaign_id is a related field in opportunities, no relationship. So there is no data to be shown in a subpanel of campaigns as there is no relationship table.

What exactly did you do? Create a relationship in studio? Which one?

Or add some custom code? Which custom code?

How did you link the opportunity to the campaign? Set the campaign filed in Opportunity?

Please help us with some details to solve the riddle ...
