Where does Sugar store customer files?

Hi, 
 Where does Sugar store customer files? Can they access them if their network goes down? Are they accessible through the customer database?

Hi Robin, 
 If you are talking about the Documents and Files uploaded in the Sugar. Sugar stores the Attachments and Documents in Upload Folder in Sugar Root Directory. Please go through this link to know more about Uploads in SugarCRM.

Sorry, some extra characters are appended in the link. Please go through this link to know more about Uploads in SugarCRM. You mean when the server is down where your sugar instance is hosted? if Yes no you cant access your Sugar Root Directory.
