Issue in report contacts grouping city wise

I found a issue in report created for contacts grouped city wise in sugarcrm 6.5,

I have created a report for contact list city wise, have added city in group "Group By: City" have also added same field in display column(Display Columns: Name, Email Address, Account Name, Designation, City), 

Same city field is used in grouping and display columns, any suggestions ?

In result I found 

City = None, Count = 8

and in entries under this None group have city names in few and empty in few, same for City = Mumbai, some entries have city name as Mumbai and for some it is blank.

    Are you sure that the 'City' field is filled in for those records and it's not another city (e.g. street) that's filled in with City? Also, have you checked whether billing_address/shipping_address might account for the difference?

    If you could do an export of the problematic rows and attach them to a comment, it would help in trying to diagnose the problem.

    Alan Apter, Thank you for the reply.

    I found the issue, In my report I have set Ascending Order on Name Field in display columns, due to which report was giving incorrect output.

    I think this may be the bug in report, need to check on this in documentation, as of now my issue is resolved, I have removed sorting.
