rounding up values on dashlet

Hello! Hoping someone can help me out. I want to display a true value in a dashlet, but the dashlet always rounds it to the nearest 1000 i.e. the true value is £4680, but the dashlet column says £5k. Anyone know what i need to do to be able to see the true value?

  • Are you referencing the Saved Reports Chart Dashlet ?

Diagrams are a visual representation of the report details and their purpose is to give an idea about the reported data on a higher level allowing to compare bars visually and allowing the user to focus on the bar of interest with a drill-down to the table representation - and to get the exact values there.

Therefore, the diagrams are not initially intended to display exact values by their nature, moreover, the art of providing the diagrams for the vendor is to select the proper level of rounding so that users could perform the comparison - otherwise, users won't be even able to express why the diagram does not work for them.

IMHO that rounding in diagrams is not the issue but rather the purpose - I'd suggest trying to choose another visualization for the task.

    I hope this makes sense
