login as another user

Sugar does not have a native feature to log in as another user. If you had this functionality previously, it was likely made available through a third-party tool installed on your Sugar instance. Upsert, the company I represent, offers a tool to enable this administrative feature: Upsert Sudo for SugarCRM.

Hi Tom,  I tend to test in a sandbox for specific users (Ent v10.3).  

From manage Users > user > edit in IDM > I set their email to an email of my own.   Then do the forgot pass process.   

salesforce is great for this.. you can just log in as though your a another user - makes testing things easy when there are many roles and permissions at play.

This would be a good feature request from an admin's perspective ;-)

Hi Luke Ridgway and Chris Raffle. This is a much requested feature and one that is heading into active development. It will allow the admin(s) of an instance to log in as any regular user and see it as them. This will be available in SugarIdentity enabled instances soon. Keep an eye on the release notes, and I'll try to remember to come back and give this thread a bump once it's released.
