how do I look up my contact by company name

From the Contacts list view, you can create and save a filter that allows you to quickly locate contacts by their associated account. The Sugar documentation covers the process for creating and saving filters. For the Account Name field specifically, you would create a filter that looks like the following:

I recommend leaving the 3rd field blank for your filter template so that you can enter the desired account name each time you activate the filter. Once you save the filter, it will be accessible under the 'Filter' menu:

Selecting that option from the menu, then provides you interface where you can type your account name:
