Is the plugin totally locked for modifications or is it "open source" like Sugar?

Hello Kristjan,
OPI is not open source. However, you may find similar open source projects at Sugar Forge.

Speaking from experience I can say that developing an outlook plugin is very difficult. If you can work with OPI please do. Even if it means purchasing Sugar just to get the OPI.
