target import primary email

This is a known defect and can be reviewed here.  As a workaround, you can mass update the records within the Targets listview.  If the records have multiple email addresses, the mass update process will set the top email address as primary.

I have checked the Target list view and there is no mass update for email and can't be changed in Studio either.  If you have done this can you give me exact steps please.  Also do you know if Campaigns can send to a non-primary email?

Joe,

From the Target listview, filter on the targets that are in the campaign target list and then select them all.  From there, click on the Action menu and select "Mass Update".  You may need to scroll down to view the Mass Update options.  If all the targets are assigned to the Global team, then mass updating them to the Global team should suffice.

Correct, campaigns will only send to primary email addresses.

Wow I have know some bugs in SugarCRM over the years but this is a clanger!

Your fix worked updating records already assigned to Global mass updating them to Global again worked, but then we have the 1000 record limit issue but at least its something, hopefully will be fixed properly.
