Bulk Change the "Name Display Format" in Locale Settings under User Administration

Hello,

Does anyone know how to do a mass update on the Name Display Format in Locale Settings under User Administraton ?

I would like to change the Name Display Format from "Dr. David Livingstone" to "Livingstone, David" for all users.

I am using SugarCRM Enterprise version 6.5.

Stella,
This setting is stored in the user_preferences table within the database. Specifically within the global category. The "content" column is base64 encrypted and contains other preference settings for the specific user as well. If you are able to get past the decryption/encryption aspect, I do not believe you can mass update just this one preference for all users without affecting settings preferences that other users have selected.

Well, I guess we will just have to update the setting per user via the UI :-)
