Tabs Disappear When Users Are In Multiple Roles

Hello Everyone! Please help!

I am trying to set up some different tabs in our Account module that shows different information. Obviously not everyone needs to be able to see all of the Tabs that are being set up. So I have created different roles for the different groups to have access to the Tabs. The problem is that we have some users that would need to be able to see multiple tabs. But when they go to the view them they cannot see them all. They may only be able to see one or two when they should have access to three or four different tabs. Is there a limit to how many roles one person can be part of? Or should I be going about this a different way?

Hi Nicole , Do you have scenarios where users are associated to multiple roles? If so, this goes against the best practice when designing role-based views . The linked documentation indicates that users associated with multiple roles will experience unexpected behaviors on role-based layouts. In general, I recommend only having a single role associated with users. Since roles have module and field-level restrictions, it can be difficult to anticipate the most-restrictive impacts to a user when multiple roles are associated with their profile. Best practice is to define an individual role per job function (e.g. Customer Service Rep, Customer Service Manager, Sales Rep, etc.); maintenance of these roles over time will be much easier to manage.
