Job 4a08eef8-2087-11ea-ba82-00155d71c603 (Process Workflow Tasks) failed in CRON run

In the past, when investigating scheduler job errors, this query has come in handy...

SELECT execute_time, status, resolution, message, data 
FROM job_queue
WHERE name = 'Process Workflow Tasks' AND resolution NOT IN ('queued','success')
ORDER BY execute_time DESC 
LIMIT 10;

If there aren't any other relevant errors near the failed in CRON run error in sugarcrm.log, you might take a look at the PHP error logs or consider increasing the verbosity of sugarcrm.log, ( https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Developer/Sugar_Developer_Guide_9.0/Architecture/Configurator/Core_Sett…  ).

Hopefully this is helpful in seeing why the job is failing.

In error log found this this error only

Thu Dec 19 18:10:26 2019 [80617][1][FATAL] Job ad3c2518-225c-11ea-ac65-00155d71c603 (Process Workflow Tasks) failed in CRON run

except this there is no error in log. i have  tried repair of schedulers and workflows.

Deleted old workflows and created new workflows still same error.

Email Configuration settings also working fine..

is there anyway to find out the problem...

You may need to clean up your workflow files manually. What version of Sugar are you using?

I recommend going navigating to the path

source/custom/modules/<module>/workflow/

and cleaning out the files contained in the directory manually for each module that you think may be affected by broken workflows.

If you think the issues are e-mail related, you can go to

source/modules/Mailer/SmtpMailer.php

and add logs to the connectToHost function to find out if you have problems with connecting to your mailserver

I am Using Sugar 7.8.2.0. there is no path folder with name source.

source is indeed not a folder. It was meant to refer to the base installation folder of your SugarCRM application.

Yes i understood. i have deleted manually and repair workflows and still same error in error.log

Are their traces also removed from the database? Can you check whether after repair the workflow files were rebuilt?

I had a similar issue with email settings breaking workflows, so I strongly suggest checking into the SmtpMailer.php file
