Timestamp a Text Field or Text Area with Date,Time, and User

New to Sugarcrm with no logic hook experience. I would like to timestamp each time a user updates a text field with the time they wrote the text and who the user was? The goal would be to have it show up next to their entry in the text field. Is there a calculated value I can use?

You could try using the new Comment Log feature, recently introduced in the Winter '19 release. You can also read more about this feature in the application guide and see a video here: Winter '19 Comments Log

Hi Alex,
Great video. Thank you for your quick reply, this is an awesome feature but it seems it is only available for the Bugs and Cases Module out of the box. The video does say it can be added to any custom module but I can not seem to see it when looking at the Data Type field when creating a field. Any idea on how to add this to any module? Maybe I am missing something. Thanks in advanced for your help!
