Emails are not sent through process author in sugarcrm 7.7

I have created process definition to send alert for case assigned to user but Emails are not sent.

Email settings are proper as emails are received from workflow on other module.

What may be the issue in process author?

    The first two things I'd check are:

    • Scheduler > Process Author Scheduled Job to make sure the Scheduler is running
    • Processes module > Process Management (via nav bar) > use the preview button to check if the process completed (thinks it sent the email...)

    In process management my processes status were inprogress, error, etc.

    Is there any help guide on resolving issues or errors if found in process management.

    I am having smiler issues as i have created process definition to send email for over due tasks, it seems process running well but email doesn't work only for process definition.
