SugarCRM VM Time drift

Hi,

anyone had a time drift issue between SugarCRM running on a VM and another server like Exchange used to sync contacts, calls, meetings, etc. ? After about a month, the time is different on the VM vs the Exchange server and the sync stop working.

Some are using a NTP Server and run a cron each day to sync.
Anyone with experience with this issue ?

Thanks,

Jonathan

  • Ok thanks. You ran it on the Sugar Server ?
  • As long as you sync all the VMs to the same time source it should work fine.
It's actually a question of how many servers you have to manage, and if you prefer to control the time source (ie only central time source is syncing to global public ntp servers, and all others are syncing to to central.
